Keen to empower all sections of society the government Monday got the Right to Information Act (RTI), 2005 printed in braille for those visually impaired.

The braille version of the RTI have been printed and published by the National Institute for Visually Handicapped under the ministry of social justice and empowerment.

“This is part of the ministry’s effort to make an inclusive society for all including persons with disabilities. A majority of persons with disabilities can lead a better quality of life if they have equal opportunities and have effective access to information including rehabilitation measures,” a statement said.
