6. Right to Information Training & Publicity programmes organized so far : -
1) A one day State Level sensitization workshop in collaboration with C.H.R.I.,
New Delhi at Aizawl in October, 2005.
2) 3 day Orientation course training at ATI Aizawl for selected SPIOs and SAPIOs in December, 2005.
3) 3 day training for selected SPIOs and SAPIOs at ATI, Aizawl in January, 2006.
4) Another such training held in April, 2006.
5) Multi-media Publicity campaign in collaboration with the Central Media Units (DDK, AIR, Field Publicity) stationed in Mizoram , held in Lengpui, Sairang and Rangvamual in February, 2006.
6) Review meeting on implementation of Right to Information Act, for all DDAs, SPIOs and SAPIOs in March, 2006
More of such training and publicity programme for successful implementation of RTI Act are being scheduled in collaboration with the State ATI. for the current year, 2006.
7. Published leaflet on “R.T.I. Act – A Tlangpui Thlirna” for wide publicity.
8. The Mizoram State Right to Information Rules – 2005 (Draft) already vetted by the Law & Judicial Department and approval of Finance Department awaited.
9. Formats of Registers to be maintained by DAA/FIRST APPELATE AUTHORITY, SPIO and SAPIO already circulated to all concerned public authorities.
10. The RTI Act, 2005 (A user’s Guide) under preparation.
